Thank you so much for your interest in joining us here at FMTC. We have already received almost 600 applications, and at this time all of our seats for Fall, 2025 have been filled in every program. Your next opportunity to enroll will be on Monday, October 6th for a spot next semester, in January 2026. Thank you again, and we hope to have you on campus soon.
If you have already applied, please monitor the email address you’ve provided for next steps. We appreciate your patience as we make our way through all student requests.
Please join us for an Information Session on Tuesdays at 9:30 a.m. to learn all about our school and the Enrollment Process.
Applicants must be at least 16 years of age and should be academically, physically, and emotionally capable of meeting the essential tasks of the chosen program. Check our GETTING STARTED page for detailed instructions to apply.
FMTC is a public postsecondary institution that accepts applications on a non-discriminatory basis from anyone having the interest, ability, and desire to benefit from career and technical education programs. To assist students in meeting their goals, there are minimum age, educational, and health requirements established for each program. According to the HEA Sec. 485(a)(1)(V) HEOA amendment effective August 14, 2008, FMTC must make available to current and prospective students information about institutional policies regarding vaccinations. FMTC does not require vaccinations for general admission to career certificate programs with the exception of health science programs; students applying for Medical Assisting, Nursing Assistant (Articulated), and Practical Nursing are required to have a Flu vaccine. FMTC is concerned about the health and well-being of all students, though. Therefore, the institution encourages all students to remain current on vaccinations as suggested by appropriate health authorities.
PLEASE NOTE: Fort Myers Technical College is NOT a Student and Exchange Visitor Program (SEVP) certified institution and does NOT participate in the Student and Exchange Visitor Information System (SEVIS), or the F, J or M visas programs. We are not an I-20 institution.
