On its beautifully landscaped 30 acre campus located in the heart of Fort Myers, Fort Myers Technical College provides students with industry-standard technology and equipment in all classrooms and labs. FMTC provides an education that enables students to become productive members of the workforce and community. Our instructors are licensed and certified teaching professionals.

Our employer-driven career education is sought after by students in need of job training or looking to enhance their skills for career advancement. Students train for secure, high-paying careers and nationally-recognized industry certifications. A typical full-time day for a workforce education adult student is six hours per day, thirty hours per week.

The educational delivery systems utilized at FMTC include traditional classroom settings, lecture, multimedia presentations, hands-on practice in labs,  clinical training, and internships/co-op.

Steps to Enroll (See Application Process document for details)

Step 1: Download and read the following Professional Nursing (LPN-RN) documents:

 

Step 2: Check your eligibility for the Professional
Nursing (LPN-RN) program.

Step 3: Gather application documents and save them to
your computer.

Step 4: Complete the online application by uploading the appropriate documents and submitting the completed application online
during the application window.

Step 5: IF YOU ARE SELECTED for an Appointment, sign up with the link you received.

Step 6: Prepare for and come to the Appointment.

Step 7: Wait patiently.

Step 8: IF YOU ARE SELECTED for the Program, RSVP within 48 hours of receiving your acceptance email.

Step 9: Fingerprints, background checks, drug screenings, health screenings, and signed releases will
be required seven (7) days prior to the first day of class (orientation).
