Web Application Development & Programming (Online Program)

This program is offered as 100% distance education (online) course that offers a sequence of courses that provides coherent and rigorous content aligned with challenging academic standards and relevant technical knowledge and skills needed to prepare for further education and careers in the Information Technology career cluster; provides technical skill proficiency, and includes competency-based applied learning that contributes to the academic knowledge, higher-order reasoning and problem-solving skills, work attitudes, general employability skills, technical skills, and occupation-specific skills, and knowledge of all aspects of the Information Technology career cluster.

The content includes, but is not limited to, the fundamentals of programming and software development, procedural and object-oriented programming, and creating web-based applications, including testing, monitoring, debugging, documenting, and maintaining applications.

The online course offers the following benefits:

  • Study during times of your choosing. Four hours of class each day, Monday – Friday (Study during your chosen times as long as you log four hours of work.)

The Cosmetology Salon & Spa is equipped with 24 styling stations, 4 manicure stations, 2 pedicure chairs, 3 facial beds, 8 hooded dryers, and 8 shampoo stations. FMTC’s Cosmetology Salon & Spa is open to the public Tuesday thru Friday from 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. (all chemical services such as color, foils, permanents, and relaxers cannot be performed after 11:00 a.m.) when school is in session. Appointments are preferred. Please call 239.334.4544 ext. 355 between 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. (Monday – Friday) to schedule an appointment. Walk-ins are accepted; but we recommend that you call ahead to check on wait times.
