.NET Application Development & Programming MPI 2024-25

This program is offered as 100% distance education (online) course that offers a sequence of courses that provides coherent and rigorous content aligned with challenging academic standards and relevant technical knowledge and skills needed to prepare for further education and careers in the Information Technology career cluster; provides technical skill proficiency, and includes competency-based applied learning that contributes to the academic knowledge, higher-order reasoning and problem-solving skills, work attitudes, general employability skills, technical skills, and occupation-specific skills, and knowledge of all aspects of the Information Technology career cluster.

The content includes, but is not limited to, the fundamentals of programming and software development, procedural and object-oriented programming, and   creating web-based applications, including testing, monitoring, debugging, documenting, and maintaining applications.

.NET Application Development & Programming is designed to prepare post-secondary students for entry-level employment as an information technology assistant, a computer programmer assistant, a computer programmer, or a .NET programmer and to provide supplemental training for persons previously or currently employed in any of these occupations.
