Brian Mangan, Director, Fort Myers Technical College; Senior Director, Lee Technical Colleges
Mr. Mangan was appointed as Director of Fort Myers Technical College on July 1, 2016. He was previously the Director of Cape Coral Technical College from July 2015 - June 2016. Mr. Mangan served as principal of the following schools in Lee County: East Lee County High School, Mariner High School, Caloosa Middle School.
Mr. Mangan currently serves on the following committees:
- Goodwill Business Advisory Committee
- Hispanic American Advisory Board Scholarship Committee
Mr. Mangan received a B.S. from University of South Florida and a Master's in Educational Leadership from Florida Gulf Coast University. He is a veteran of the U.S. Army - U.S. Army Officer 1990-2006; Florida Army National Guard, United States Army Reserve, Third Army.
George D. McDaniel
Assistant Director of Operations/Finance
Mr. McDaniel was appointed Assistant Director of School Operations and Finance at Fort Myers Technical College in July of 2014. Prior to coming to FMTC, he worked as an administrator at Cape Coral Technical College and Mariner High School, and as a grant specialist and automotive teacher at East Lee County High School. Mr. McDaniel is a proud alumnus of Fort Myers Technical College, where he completed the Automotive Service Technology program.
Mr. McDaniel holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Studio Art from Florida State University and a Master of Education in Educational Leadership.
Assistant Director of Curriculum
Mrs. Brooks was appointed Assistant Director of Curriculum at Fort Myers Technical College in December 2018. Prior to coming to FMTC, she worked as an administrator at Cape Coral Technical College, Adult and Career Education as a teacher on assignment, Technology Specialist for the School District's ESE Department, and taught AudoCAD, middle grades math, and middle school Technology Education.
Mrs. Brooks received a B.S. in Industrial Technology from Illinois State College and a Master's in Educational Leadership from Nova Southeastern University.
